The Original Battle of the Sexes:
Kate the Shrew insists that no one can drag her down the aisle to marriage, but has she met her match in the brazen gold-digger Petruchio? Their verbal (and physical!) sparring continues to inspire countless re-tellings, from Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor to ‘Ten Things I Hate About You’. In Shakespeare’s uproarious comedy, the question remains: Exactly who is taming whom?
