“The sparks between these two would keep a bonfire blazing through the night.”
–Vanity Fair
Freckled and fierce, Irish lass Rosemary nurses a childhood grudge against her slow and socially awkward neighbor Anthony in this Tony-nominated play about a generations-old land dispute. In the face of an impending land sale, the pastoral countryside ignites into an argument that is anything but neighborly. With an ailing widower after a piece of disputed turf and a tremulous widow trying to keep a leash on her admittedly crazy daughter, feelings and fur fly in this unlikely love story.
