Children's Summer Series: Jason Downing's Blues for Kids

This performance has passed. Please see some of our upcoming shows below.

We are moving indoors to the big stage! Due to soggy lawn conditions & more potential rain this morning, today's event will be located inside the Lincoln Center's Performance Hall. So leave those chairs, blankets and floppy hats at home, and we'll see you at 10am to sing those rainy day summer blues away! The building will open at 9am, and seating will begin in the Performance Hall starting at 9:30.

Also, part of this morning's show will feature a fun harmonica lesson, so don't forget to bring your own harmonica from home. Free harmonicas for the first 40 kids (age 4 & up) will be available at the Lincoln Center Support League table - special thanks to the Colorado Blues Society for donating these instruments!

About the artist:

Jason Downing is a father, teacher and musician that lives on his 4-acre farm in Fort Collins! He finds the Inspiration to create his music through his family, nature, kids and fun. Jason first sang on stage at age 14 and he has not stopped creating art or following his calling of teaching peace, history, and compassion through music. Many of his performances feature the history of African music and the blues with an emphasis on how the community can be strengthened through artistic and musical connections and collaboration.
