Canyon Concert Ballet transports you to a dystopian 1984 based on the novella by George Orwell published in 1949. Winston Smith,a low-ranking worker is frustrated by the omnipresent eyes of The Party, and its ominous ruler Big Brother. This new contemporary ballet by Artistic Director Michael Pappalardo explores a world destroyed by greed and a man's desire to feel free again.
