We’re 40 years old, and after a thrilling 2018/19 season, we’ve never felt better!
As our celebration of 40 years draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what an amazing year it has been. But first, we want to thank all who came to see a show, visited our art gallery or held an event here. Because of your support and patronage, we are able to continue doing what we do best—delivering the finest in arts, culture, entertainment and customer service to Northern Colorado.
Arts Education
The Lincoln Center is committed to arts education, and it has been another fabulous year for us. With the help of the Lincoln Center Support League, we connected 4,448 students and community members with world-class professional artists at 11 different events during the 2018-2019 season. Poudre School District students enjoyed shows like the electrifying ArcAttack and took a Journey to Oz with Dorothy and all of her friends!
There were also numerous Masterclasses held this season with the artists from our Classical Convergence and Dance series—including the internationally renowned ballet troupe Les Ballets Trockaderos de Monte Carlo.
Play It Forward Instrument Drive
In conjunction with Boomer Music Company and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s Swingin’ Holiday Party, The Lincoln Center ran an Instrument drive to benefit Bringing Music to Life. Thanks to the community, we received over 30 instruments and accessories that were given to deserving schools in the local area!
Entourage
This year, the Lincoln Center was proud to establish The Entourage, an opportunity for younger people on a budget to enjoy the arts. Every ticket was purchased, and we are excited to announce that we will be expanding the program for the 2019/2020 season.
New Seats
It’s been 40 years since we’ve replaced our seats, and it was time for a new upgrade! By putting in new seats we gave you the same great view with the added the bonus of cup holders, extra padding, new aisle lighting and so much more. With a little fine-tuning over this summer, we’ll make sure you have the best seats in the house!
Full-capacity crowds
With sellout crowds at shows like Sound of Music, Mavis Staples, The Choir of Man, Kodo and Postmodern Jukebox, our performances are more vibrant than ever and attracting new ticketholders from every corner of the community.
Dementia-Friendly
The Lincoln Center prioritizes serving the community and its needs. Since becoming the first business in Northern Colorado to receive the official dementia-friendly designation, we’ve sponsored the Colorado C Sharp program, and have renewed our commitment to making all of our patrons feel welcome and comfortable for the Fort Collins Symphony’s B Sharp program.
It’s been an amazing 40th season, we hope you agree. We thank you for your patronage and support as we celebrated our ruby jubilee and we hope you’ll join us again for the 19/20 season.
