Artwear: Reclaimed and Recreated features artwork and garments created using recycled and upcycled materials. The exhibit features garments by seven artists who make a statement through the materials they chose to use. Whether it is giving new life to discarded items such as plastic bags, vinyl billboards, or trash itself; or using the unexpected materials of paper and rubber bands to create something uniquely wearable, each artist makes their own artistic statement. The wearable art is set against the backdrop of upcycled artwork created by Julie Kornblum and Andy Dufford.
